Mid-Autumn Festival Care & Charity

In Chinese culture, Mid-Autumn Festival symbolizes reunion of families and friends. On 18th September 2010, we took an opportunity to participate in the “Mid-Autumn Festival Care & Charity”, organized by the “Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Social Service Centre”. During the event, we were divided into teams and paid visits to the elderly who lived alone in the Aberdeen district, had an understanding of their lives and daily encounters, brought them gifts and mooncakes as a mean to share a festive feeling with them.
